Mt. SAC APAHM Asian Pacific American Heritage Month

What is APAHM?

Asian Pacific American Heritage Month was signed into public law on October 23, 1992. While the statute recognizes the earliest immigration of Japanese American settlers and the contributions of Chinese "pioneers" who helped to complete the transcontinental railroad, it is also to recognize the "history, concerns, contributions, and achievements of Asian American and Pacific Islanders".

Celebrate APAHM with Us!
