    • Section or Level Transfer (weeks 1 - 3 of a 16-week semester)
      Section Transfer

      Level Transfer

How to get a section or level transfer:
      1. Confirm that there is space available in the course you plan on switching into before dropping the class you are enrolled in.
      2. Section or level transfers done during the first 2 weeks of class can be done by getting an add code for the class you want to take, dropping the class you are enrolled in, and then using the add code to get into the desired class.
      3. During the 3rd week there are forms that need to be signed by the professor in the class you plan on transferring into, and by the professor of the class you are transferring out of.

Note:  Be aware that choosing a support option that changes the number of credit-units you are enrolled in can affect eligibility for such things as financial aid.  Be sure to first talk with a counselor if you think that a change in your number of credit-units might impact you.
